How do you communicate with a face mask on?

Of course, we can speak like normal through the mask, but is that enough to get the real message across when people can't see our mouths?

I've had a few close calls lately of people not understanding my joke, or realising that I'm teasing them, because they couldn't see my smile!

So I've been using a strategy to ensure my message is clear and not misinterpreted.

It's simple; it's effective; but you have to remember to do it.
