What's your AI strategy?

We had The Big AI Chat—and it wasn’t about tools. It was about feelings.

Last week, my team and I sat down to talk about AI.

  • Yes—we shared tools we’re using.

  • Yes—we swapped tips and tricks.

  • Yes—we talked about prompts and platforms and productivity.

But then?

We did something a lot of teams skip:

We talked about how we feel about it all.

  • The overwhelm.

  • The fear.

  • The “Will there be any jobs left?” anxiety.

  • The “What’s my value if a bot can write this faster?” thoughts.

We named the elephants in the room.

We breathed together.

And then, we made some decisions:

But, here’s the bit I really want to share:

We realised teams don’t just need upskilling in AI.

They need space to decompress their feelings about AI.

  • To share their fears.

  • To share their overwhelm.

  • To feel heard.

Because humans who feel safe will explore, adapt, and learn.

So, here’s my question for you:

What’s your AI strategy, and what conversations are you having to support your team emotionally as they navigate it?
