That’s what happens. 🌟 And not just because we all come from different backgrounds, but because our lenses into inclusion in the workplace are also so diverse. The clip is my take on the importance of DEI from an interpersonal perspective… and it’s not just DEI as it stands today; it’s the outcome or goal of DEI - 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠. Diversity without understanding is just difference. It’s disruptive. But diversity with understanding is transformative. It creates belonging.
The Difference Project: The gendered future of work
In this episode, we explored how to begin a new design for the workplace. One that’s built for a 21st century social and business environment. One that accounts for the roles that men and women play in society, and in the home – many of which are (either traditionally or biologically) dictated by gender.
