The Difference Project: The gendered future of work

What a great way to welcome the new year with a dose of valuable insights in the 3rd episode of the Difference project: a series of live digital conversations that aims to shape a whole new hypothesis on how to use difference to make a difference…to make systemic change toward a safer, fairer, more inclusive world.

Most of the conversations about gender diversity highlight the inequalities that exist for females in the workplace. Much of the advice on confronting these inequities focuses on providing women ways to navigate the workplace...as it currently exists!

In this episode, we explored how to begin a new design for the workplace. One that’s built for a 21st century social and business environment. One that accounts for the roles that men and women play in society, and in the home – many of which are (either traditionally or biologically) dictated by gender. One that allows women to pursue career goals and make a meaningful contribution to an organisation while ensuring that the needs of carer and homelife are met.

Esteemed panelists include Louise Adams, Gina Cox, Mike Emmett, Jeff Schwisow, and yours truly.
