I know IWD has been and gone, but the need for the focus still remains.

Hence I’m sharing a recording of a fireside chat that I had the privilege to be a part of on IWD this year.

Lead by the inimitable and always delightful Belinda Fry from Metcash, we had a brilliant chat about all things women at work:

→ the current state of women in the workplace,

→ how to fast track equality, and

→ what we can all do to move the needle on gender equity at work.

Oh and we had some very interesting and challenging questions from the audience that made everyone lean in… it was real.

We had a wonderful live audience and I believe it was even a record for the amount of online engagement and questions as well. (Yay!)

We could’ve gone for another few hours!

Big shout out to Belinda Fry. A whiz in her day job, AND could easily become a journalist if she wanted to!

She had done her homework. She read my book THREE times, filled it with sticky notes and came prepared with her questions. (I think she knows the content better than me now!)

And special thanks to the team at Metcash for allowing me to share this recording with all of you. They are leading the way in their commitment to action, and sharing this kind of session with the broader community is a testament to their dedication to doing what they can for the women of the working world - and not just at Metcash.
