Do you get vague feedback during performance reviews?

Research reported by Chief Executive Women in 2017 found that women were more likely to be given vague feedback in development conversations. Coupled with the fact that when they are given feedback, it's often about their communication style (think 'too aggressive' 'lacking confidence' 'too direct') as opposed to technical business skills.

In my Women@Work program we uncover more research like this in order to help participants get really clear on the current corporate landscape for women. AND most importantly, how to navigate it.

Check out the interview snippet below to hear my hypothesis on why women often receive vague feedback (it may involve tears!).
